For the voids of their alphabetical signs, I use the same technique of cold cutting as in the STELAE. The models for the letters were developed from my typographical ideas, and can be joined together in any direction in space with a perimeter design which enables them to support their own weight without affecting their rigidity.

I have chosen the quotation from John/14·6:

“I AM THE WAY AND THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE; NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.”

In this case I have violated the absolute order of my typographies, fitting them together in all directions to encourage the search for a meaning, thus enhancing not only the meaning itself, but also inviting the viewer to consider the enigmatic aspects of the text.
