They consist of rectangular proportioned blocks conceived to be anchored to the ground vertically, with the minimum size defined by its height, width and thickness of 600 x 200 x 8 cm. They constitute a set of monuments to languages (alphabetical, numerical, pictographical, etc.).

The profile of their empty spaces derives from exhaustive work on the pieces Grammata 3/1 and Arithmos 3/1, which allow the materialization in three dimensions of typographical bodies that fulfil the condition of having a width equal to their depth (and that of the block containing them), which when tripled defines their height as a sign. This enables the content of the STELAE to be configured in perfect harmony with the prism that contains them.

These blocks, are designed to be placed in large spaces and positioned along an east-west axis to receive the sun’s rays, thus providing the added value of the shadow they cast on the ground, which changes with the movement of the sun and whose light will fall at an angle corresponding to each season of the year.

The surrounding of its shape, the uniqueness of their typo graphical signs, together with the perfection and precision of their voids, will inspire in the onlooker emotion of perceiving, in an order without precedent, those signs that enabled our ancestors to convey their knowledge. Magnified in the STELAE, the signs remain a 20th Century Rosetta stone, a legacy for oncoming generations.
