Born in la Vall de Ribes de Freser, Pirineus orientals, Girona.

1963

He takes Engineering courses at the Terrassa Industrial School, and Architecture at the UPC Barcelona Surveyors School. Finally, he trains as an industrial designer under the direction of Santiago Pey Estrany at the Massana School of Sumptuous Arts in Barcelona.

1965 SCULPTURE, PAINTING, VISUAL ARTS and MULTIPLICATED ART

He paints and sculpts based on a personal conception of the figurative, until reaching an understanding of the abstract. He evolves towards works with a strictly geometric and mathematical basis. After his first personal exhibition in Barcelona (GALERIA AS, 1970) based on Kinetic Art, Alexandre Cirici Pellicer (Edicions 62, 1970, L’ART CONTEMPORANI CATALÀ) defines him as a clear exponent of the Gestalt movement in Catalunya. At the same time, he begins to carry out industrial and graphic design work for the furniture company NORMAEUROP SA and for KADIMA (optical industry).

1975 GRAPHIC ARTS, PHOTOMECHANICS and PHOTOGRAPHY

He founds a collective that brings together under the name FOTO S.A. AGÈNCIA GRÀFICA in which he simultaneously directs and works as a press and advertising photographer.

1983-2000 INDUSTRIAL DESIGN, GRAPHIC and ARCHITECTURE

CEO of MASTER DESIGN SL, Management and creation of projects for the implementation of corporate image, product development, urban identification or work environments and architecture. He works for clients such as FIAT/OM, HEXCEL Corp., INDESA/DUNLOP, SAFO/CHLORYDE, HUGO BOSS, DERIVADOS FORESTALES, FIRA DE BARCELONA, IBERCARRETILLAS, and Govern d'Andorra.

2003 SCULPTURE

He focuses exclusively on sculptural creation in a variety of industrial materials and techniques, with Kosme de Barañano, curator of his work since 2008.
